Ok, I got it
All safe and warm
Back Home
All safe and warm
Inside its mothers womb
A tiny little boy lies
Waiting to bloom

Innocently sleeping there
A person it will be
Doesn’t know about the world
And maybe will never see

The father doesn’t know
That he may have a son
And nor will he find out
After the deed is done

The deed of which I speak
Based on your perception
I think they call it murder
Or some form of contraception

The tiny little baby,
The innocent victim here
Is paying for his mothers mistake
His time is getting near.

The day of her appointment
She sits in the waiting room
Her baby unaware
Safely inside her womb

“At 18 years old,
I’m too young to have a kid
My mum has given me everything
Because she never did

“What do I have to offer?
A tiny little boy
I can’t afford to buy him
One single toy

“His life would be an empty one
Love, but only from me
A dad who does exist
But one he doesn’t see

“At the moment it’s an ‘it’
And that’s what it will stay
Tomorrow it won’t even be that,
Not after today

“I'm making the right decision
I've got my own life to live
Before I make another
When I’ve got something to give”

And with that she got up
Signed a form of consent
And her reasoning had proved
That no harm was ever meant

She’s made the right decision
And it wasn’t an easy one
But we need to trust her judgement
To kill a baby she didn’t want

And if you find this hard to comprehend
You will never understand
But if your friend ever goes through this
Be there to hold her hand

And though it may not be
Something you would ever do
Your friend may need support
Someone to say ‘I love you’
